What is Bokbut?

Bokbut is an end-to-end-capable service for sending text between your phone and PC. No signup is required — pair with a QR code or 6-digit code and you're ready.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect to my PC?

1. In the app, tap "Pair" to generate a 6-digit code.
2. Open bokbut.com in your PC browser and enter the code.
3. Once paired, you can immediately send text in both directions.

Is my text safe?

All text is encrypted with AES-256-GCM in transit and stored encrypted on the server. On the Free plan, messages are auto-deleted after 24 hours.

How do I manage my Pro subscription?

Open the app and go to Settings > Plan to view and manage your subscription. To cancel, use the App Store subscription settings.

I want to delete my data

In the app, go to Settings > Delete data to wipe all of your data immediately.
